School Fees
At AGU, a portion of the school fees, 20% of the tuition and 10% of the educational enhancement fee, is refunded as a "school fee reduction" for privately funded international students (those who have completed the procedures after admission and been approved as eligible for school fee reduction).

Application Eligibility
To apply, applicants must not have Japanese nationality and must meet the requirements below. However, this excludes individuals residing in Japan with permanent resident status as well as those who have special permanent resident status as provided in the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, Inter Alia, Those Who Have Lost Japanese Nationality Pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan.
Individuals who have completed a designated 12-year course of school education in a foreign country or are deemed to have met the equivalent to this requirement by the University
Individuals who are 18 years of age or older as of April 1, 2027
Individuals who have sufficient Japanese language proficiency to understand lectures (N2 level of Japanese-Language Proficiency Test or higher is the rule of thumb)
For the Faculty of Health Science (Department of Nutritional Science), individuals who have taken Biology or Chemistry
Notes
Since education systems vary by country, please contact the AGU Entrance Examination Center in advance if you have questions about whether you are eligible to apply.
Admission will be revoked if any false statements are present in the submitted documents, even after admission to the University.

The guarantor assumes responsibility for all matters regarding the applicant's personal circumstances and jointly guarantees not only to fulfill the obligation to pay tuition fees but also to fulfill the obligation to compensate AGU for damage caused to the University by the actions of the student. (The maximum amount of the guarantee is equivalent to the annual school fees. However, if the school fees are revised while the student is enrolled in the University, the maximum amount will be equivalent to the annual school fees after the revision.)
