Overview of Graduate Schools
Two divisions, Psychology and Health Sciences, have been established.
Through psychological and physical science that is beneficial for human health, students can aim to become highly skilled professionals or researchers in cutting-edge fields while also achieving personal happiness.
The Graduate School of Psychological and Physical Science aims to contribute broadly to human health by advancing scientific exploration of humans empirically from two perspectives: the mind and the body. A characteristic feature of it is the ability to engage in research by fusing together psychological and physical perspectives. The Graduate School has two divisions, Psychology and Health Sciences, and the broad natures of their specialized fields and the extensive expertise in them has led to growing expectations for new research results arising from their fusion. Doctoral programs are offered in both divisions, allowing students to acquire specialized knowledge and skills to become researchers in cutting-edge fields.
Psychology
Psychology Basic Course of Study
Understand the mechanisms of the mind through diverse physiological research results with the aim of becoming a psychology specialist with breadth and depth.
Clinical Psychology Course of Study
Aim to be a Certified Public Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist who resolves emotional issues using professional knowledge and techniques backed by clinical psychology.

Health Sciences
In the Health Sciences Division, we provide a curriculum suitable for training health maintenance and improvement leaders active in the community and educational settings, highly-skilled professionals in health and bioscience industries, next-gen speech-language-hearing therapists able to treat speech-language-hearing pathologies, and registered dietitians well versed in medical and other knowledge.
