The Graduate School of Business and Commerce (GSB) of Aichi Gakuin University was established in 1964 as the University's first graduate school and has fostered and produced many talented individuals to date. The tradition accumulated over more than 60 years and its achievements in research and education are highly regarded by academia and the business world.
Proud of such a tradition and achievements, the GSB engage in business education fit for the new era, keeping a close eye on the rapidly changing contemporary business environment. There are seven fields of study to choose from: Tax Law, Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, International Business, and Business Information. At the GSB, a high proportion of graduate students aspire to become tax accountants and specialize in Tax Law or Accounting, many alumni have actually obtained the certified public tax accountant qualification and are active in society.
The faculty members responsible for teaching comprise researchers with eminent research achievements and practitioner-faculty members who are active at the forefront of business; by collaborating with each other, they create an environment in which students can acquire profound knowledge and practical problem-solving skills. In the Tax Law field in particular, tax accountants with extensive work experience provide guidance for the preparation of master's theses, primarily for Certified Public Tax Accountant Examination candidates.
