The department welcomes students who wish to pursue work in the future that requires English proficiency. Students acquire expertise in their chosen vocational fields and the ability to express themselves in English on the spot, polishing their skills for playing active roles on the global stage. The faculty members in charge of specialties are instructors with expertise in the field and experience at the forefront of their industries, so students are able to acquire real skills.

Acquire English proficiency and skills in your field of specialty to become immediately effective in global society. Career-related learning is also plentiful, and knowledge concerning a variety of industries can also be acquired. -
Acquire a practical level of English proficiency through the mastery of four skills and classes divided by proficiency level
Enhance English reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills through 10 or more hours of English language skill subjects per week, including English-only classes. Detailed guidance for TOEIC preparation is also provided in classes divided by proficiency level. -
Improve English proficiency and cross-cultural understanding! Overseas language training for all students
During the summer holiday in Year 2, all students in this department participate in 2 to 3 weeks of language training and homestays at a language school affiliated with the University of Western Australia. This also improves cross-cultural understanding. *The duration and other details are subject to change depending on social conditions.
Two courses of study and four types of subject model directly connected to your desired career path
*From Year 3 onward, the curriculum is divided into two courses of study.
The department offers fulfilling education connected to four industries: Tourism and Aviation, International Business, Interpretation and Translation, and English Teacher Certification. Students can learn specialized career-related knowledge and skills as well as practical English from faculty members with professional experience in each industry.
