Modern society has become a super-aging society. In Japan, individuals are needed that can contribute to health promotion, disease prevention, and early treatment and guidance. This department trains health professionals, including fitness instructors, trainers, health and physical education teachers, school nurses, and speech-language pathologists. The learning provided transcends the boundaries of courses, and the interactions among students are also lively.

There are countless options for the future related to health, including education, rehabilitation, and management. Learning is comprehensive in Year 1, providing reassurance even for students who have not decided their future paths. -
Enjoyable learning through interaction across courses of study and years cultivates ambition
Despite this department being divided into three courses of study, it remains one department. So, students can take classes that are not in their own courses of study. Flexible and diverse learning beyond the boundaries of courses of study is possible.
Three courses directly connected to health support specialists
The foundation of learning is mental and physical health science. After building a solid foundation, students acquire health science knowledge and techniques from a variety of fields, such as specialized medicine, mental health, sports science, and neuroscience. In addition, three courses have been established that correspond to desired future paths: Sports Science, School Nurse, and Speech-language Pathologist. We train health specialists with learning that deepens their expertise.
