Extensive reading in English
授業の概要
Extensive reading (多読) - reading longer, easier stories - is an effective and fun way to improve your English. Students read at least one graded reading book every week, and then talk/write about this book in class. They also learn vocabulary and grammar used in various story genres.
The course goal is to read a MINIMUM of 50,000 words.
We will use the online reading website xreading.com

Students will be able to choose graded readers at the appropriate level, read a large volume of words each week, summarise the books they read with appropriate language, and give their critical reactions to the books in English.
