Seminar on Interdisciplinary Global and Area Studies (IGAS)
授業の概要
This seminar is for building the necessary academic skills and analytical capacity for students interested in any global/national/local missions related to development, peace, and security. Students receive reading materials for global, regional and area studies to digest the topics and use them as a springboard for learning how to discover and analyze important issues.
授業の到達
目標
1. Students will master strategies for literature review, theoretical comparison and conceptual building.
2. Students can identify situational differences and analyze cause-impact relations.
3. Students will acquire critical thinking skills for applying an interdisciplinary approach.
4. Students will build knowledge to become policy analysts, area studies and subject experts.
