テーマ
Seminar in Cultural Studies
授業の概要
Although students will be continuing their research on particular topics related to material and visual culture, the focus in this seminar will be on the effective development and production of a final research project. This “Graduation Project” will be each student’s culminating statement of their academic life as an undergraduate.

目標
Activities will address formatting and structuring issues related to the Graduation Project, as well as differing academic approaches to the analysis of cultural material. Also of concern will be methods to aid in the search, evaluation and incorporation of source material into the project.

Feedback on assignments will normally be provided in class or through Teams. After final evaluations, the instructor can be contacted online via Teams or by email.

Attitude and participation25%Students will be evaluated on the level of enthusiasm they exhibit in paired, group and full-class discussions.
Completion of weekly homework and reading assignments25%Students will be evaluated on the number and quality of completed homework assignments and depth of interaction with assigned reading.
Presentation of research50%Students will be evaluated on commitment toward and quality of research as it is presented throughout the semester.
