英語を聞く能力 話す能力の向上を目指す
授業の概要
This is a course to improve the student's ability to communicate effectively in spoken English. Students will do this through group conversations about stories on Internet videos that will offer them opportunity to express their own thoughts--freely and creatively--in their own English. They will be asked to prepare by writing down Conversations Starters in both Japanese and English before class.

目標
Specific skills that students will practice are:
 (a) to ask questions,
 (b) to give short answers to questions and then add more information,
 (c) to use a variety of verbs, and
 (d) to make well-formed sentences that are easy to understand.

Students' questions will be solicited via questionnaires after homework assignments. The teacher's feedback will be posted on his website and linked to the Mobile Index (Google search "jeffreyb").
