The seminar will follow a cultural studies format. Borrowing from a number of different academic fields (for example art history, sociology, and history among others), the field of cultural studies provides us with an “interpretive framework,” or the tools, for looking at culture. 授業の到達 目標 Within the field of cultural studies we can find theories about what culture is, and methods for analyzing and understanding culture.
