科目のねらい | | International cooperation is important in achieving the MDGs and the related targets since the disadvantaged populations and regions have been facing the complex problems of poverty by many factors in the contemporary system. This course is concerned with the area of convergence between development studies and international cooperation with a special focus attached to such issues as individual freedom, democracy, capability building as wells using, and both gender and ethnic equality. |

到達目標 | | Students are expected to master the following functions by the end of this course. (1) Understand the world’s issues from the dimensions of UN and international organizations. (2) Develop critical thinking skills for discussion and can apply it to writing on thematic highlights. (3) Have insight into situational differences and analyse cause-impact relations from interdisciplinary perspectives. (4) Become policy analyst, country expert and subject specialist in the long-run. (5) Transfer their gained knowledge to others through educational process. |
