科目のねらい | | This course/subject introduces the basics, principles, approaches and trends in analysing a range of local crises, regional instability and global threats faced by the people and societies across Asia. It discusses the critical roles played by the political powers of the world/region as well as non-state players including global civil society organizations and international legal instruments/norms in tackling such rising challenges. |

到達目標 | | (1) Students will be able to use methodologies of regional and area studies and digest information. (2) Students will be able to understand the complex perspectives of the region including challenges. (3) Students will develop skills in applied writing on thematic topics/reports assigned by lecturers. (4) Students will gain skills to discover situational urgencies and analyze cause-impact relations on a critical issue of their own areas of interest. (5) Students will have a sound knowledge foundation to become policy analysts, country experts and subject specialists in the future. |
