Exploring Japanese culture and society from fifteen perspectives
授業の概要
This is a course on Japanese culture and society conducted by fifteen international lectures. It offers students an opportunity to explore fifteen topics such as origami, Japanese language, religion (Buddhism and Shintoism), anime, judo and agriculture. This course is especially useful for students interested in introducing Japanese culture and society to foreigners.

目標
Students will develop a rich understanding of Japanese culture and society. They will also be able to improve their ability to introduce, discuss and analyze Japanese culture and society in English.

Final exam (100%): students can use their notebooks, handouts and dictionaries (with no internet connection).
*Students are required to attend at least 2/3 (10/15) classes to take the final exam. For absences with valid reasons, please discuss with the teacher (s).
