英語を聴く能力・話す能力の向上を目指す
授業の概要
This class is to give practice in talking with people from other culture areas. It is important to get the content of your messages across and to grasp messages from the other side. But it is also important to read each other's wishes. Where anything is not clear, questions are needed to make it clearer. We will be practising skills like these while also exploring cultural differences.

目標
After the course, you should feel more confident about using English speech to get across your own meanings and to grasp other people's. You should also pick up some new insights into the kinds of problems that lead to misunderstandings between people from different language and culture areas.

授業の最後の15分を使う「小テスト」を6回（予定）行い、そのテストでとった点（上位スコアより4回分）を成績に含めます。「Short Test」と示されている日、なるべく欠席しないでください。欠席すれば、高いスコアをとるチャンスがそれだけ少なくなります。万が一4回分のスコアがそろいそうもないケースが出れば、そのとき公平な解決策を考えます。
