秋学期は危険な冒険に出かける主人公を扱います。その道のりは主人公をダークサイドの中心に連れて行きます。主人公はどのようにチャレンジに打ち勝つのでしょう？何を学ぶのでしょうか？私たちにも共通するチャレンジは何でしょうか？ドラゴン？海の怪物？巨人？
授業ではそれぞれのファンタジー映画の、物語や登場人物やテーマを考えます。映画のワークシートを使ってボキャブラリー、文法、表現を練習します。リーディングと短いレポートを課します |

| 到達目標 | | Media 4 takes the theme of a hero who is on a dangerous quest. His path takes him into the very heart of the dark side. How do these heroes emerge victorious from their challenges? What have they learned on their quests? What challenges did they face that we may face in our own lives? Dragons? Sea monsters? Giants? Our own dark side?
This class studies the stories, characters and themes of each fantasy film. This is a high intermediate film studies/ English writing expression course. Students practice vocabulary, grammar and expression through film worksheets. A supplemental reading project and short report are also required for credit |
