秋学期は女性主人公がそれぞれの冒険にどう直面するかに取り組みます。白雪姫、マレフィセント、ルーシー・ペベンシーはそれぞれ全く違いますが、旅を導く純粋な心のパワーを持っています。
それぞれの映画で、英語の文法、表現と、クリティカル・シンキングに基づくライティングに取り組みます。それに加えて短いレポートを課します。 |

| 到達目標 | | The fall semester of the hero’s journey takes the theme of the heroine. We view film stories about a courageous heroine and learn about her adventures in this world and other worlds. Snow White, Maleficent and Lucy Pevensie are three very different heroines but all have the power of a pure heart to guide them on their journeys. The coursework of this course combines English grammar, expression and critical thinking writing for each film. In addition students write a short report to complete semester credit.
Fall semester films: Snow White and the Huntsman, Maleficent, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. |
