Don’t be shy in communicating with foreigners. 外国人と、英語で積極的にコミュニケーションをとることができるようになる。 到達目標 The object of the class is to improve and or sharpen our English communication ability by having fun sharing our life experiences, opinions on many topics and our dreams for the future. Each of the following topics has speaking, grammar, pronunciation, listening, writing, and reading exercises. 日常会話をはじめ、さまざまなニュース、将来の夢などについて、楽しく話しながら、英語コミュニケーション力を高めます。 授業の内容・ 計画 1. Introduction to the class and each other 2. People; childhood; memories 3. Transportation; transportation problems; city services 4. Houses and apartments 5. Lifestyle changes; wishes 6. Food; recipes; instructions; cooking methods 7. MIDTERM TEST 8. Describing vacation plans 9. Giving travel advice; planning a vacation 10. Complaints; household chores; 11. FINAL TEST 評価方法 （基準等） Evaluation will be based on 1) attendance, enthusiasm, some homework either preview or review style (30%)（授業態度等）, 2) two class assignments (20%)（発表等）, and 3) two tests (50%)（試験）. 授業外の学修 (予習･復習) Improve your pronunciation through trying to recite the sentences that you learn in this class. Good pronunciation also brushes up your ability to catch English words. ◎授業前までにテキストの指定された部分を予習しておく必要がある。 ◎復習として授業内で取り上げた英語表現をしっかりと覚えておくこと。 教科書・ 参考書 Jack C.
