科目のねらい | | The main objective of this course is to introduce students to the stages and rites of life (Birth, Coming of age, Marriage and Death) from a comparative, religious point of view. |

到達目標 | | At the end of the course, students should be familiar with the FOUR stages of life, as well as with the SIX major world religions. They should also be able to effectively research, study and talk about cultural-religious differences in English. |

授業の内容・ 計画 | | Classes will be taught in a three-week cycle, and students will work with the same working group for a full cycle Week 1: Introduction and teacher presentation. Week 2: Group presentations. Week 3: Review and teacher summary.

授業外の学修 (予習・復習) | | Students will research and present information on the moaral significance of and rituals on the 4 stages of life in different religions. They will also review content in English from group presentations and as summarized by the teacher. |
