Review self introductions with new students. Week #2: Talking about friends. Introduce timed conversations and conversation hints. Week #3: Conversation hints and raising topics. ASk teacher a question activity. Week #4: In class 1 minute speech project "my best friend." Week #5: Talking about school. AGU foreign exchange student role-play activity. Week #6: Conversation hints: asking for and showing understanding. One minute timed conversation practice. Week #7: Back to the Future movie project. Vocabulary test. Week #8: Talking about music. Classic rock and roll music listening and discussion. Week #9: Talking about your favorite musician in class and playing your favorite song for others. Week #10: Story telling project "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" Week #11: Talking about social activities and dating. Conversation hints:showing you're thinking of a word and buying time while talking. Week #12: In class mini-Xmas Party. Week #13: Vocabulary test. Talking about travel plans. Week #14: Farewell speeches. Proposing toasts and offering thanks. End of year speech activity. Week #15: Prepare for Final Examination.
