| | | 到達目標 | | このクラスはスピーキングとリスニングを学びます。この教科書のそれぞれのユニットは学生である皆さんの日常生活に関連したさまざまなトピックを紹介します。それぞれのトピックにおいて語彙や会話に必要な語句を学びます。さらにお互いのパートナーとの会話の練習をしっかりやります。この方式は新たなクラスメートに出会い、親密になれます。
This is a speaking and listening class. Each unit of the text introduces a different topic related to students' daily life and draws on their own experiences. For each topic, they learn vocabulary and short conversational phrases, but spend most of the class talking with partners. This is a good opportunity to meet new people and to get to know classmates better. |
| | 授業の内容・
計画 | | 学生のみなさんは毎週英語で話す練習をします。はっきりと、大きな声で話しましょう。質問を行い、情報を交換してコミニケーションをはかり、新たな英語表現を体験しましょう。
Students get weekly practice speaking in English, speaking clearly and loudly, asking questions and giving information, communicating, and experimenting with new English.
Course topics:
1. Friends 1: Vocabulary, personality traits. Video ("Friends").
2. Friends 2: Small talk expressions, conversation exercises, personality quiz.
3. Friends 3: Video exercise, dictation, vocabulary quiz.
4. School 1: How to explain words (conversational hints and practice), homework.
5. School 2: Homework partner exercise, school vocabulary, CD listening.
6. School 3: Explaining school schedules, dictation, vocabulary quiz.
7. Music 1: Vocabulary, introducing a favorite group (Beatles--video, song
analysis), homework.
8. Music 2: Asking for more information, homework conversation, dictation,
vocabulary quiz.
9. Relationships 1: Vocabulary, hints, begin movie (bilingual script, worksheets).
10. Relationships 2: Continue movie, homework exercise.
11. Relationships 3. Finish movie, qualities in a romantic partner, dictation.
12. Travel 1: Vocabulary and travel questions. Travel game and quiz.
13. Travel 2: Conversations--past and future trips, CD listening and practice.
14. Travel 3: Dictation, vocabulary quiz, narrating a video (partner exercise).
15. General Review: Semester vocabulary review, practice for final exam. |
| | 評価方法
（基準等） | | 評価は宿題、語彙テスト、授業での参加度、期末テストに基づきます。
Grading will be based on homework and vocabulary quizzes (40%), class work/participation (20%), and final exam (listening and writing) (40%). |
