| 科目のねらい | | | The class builds on conversation skills to use English in discussions. |

| 到達目標 | | This course builds on the first year oral course, enabling students to use their skills in discussion. After taking this course, students should be able to share their ideas, in English, with a group. We will discuss aspects of Japanese culture, and to make the discussion more interesting, we will compare these with a variety of cultures around the world. The content of this class will help students in the conversations they have when in Australia in the summer.
Students are expected to use only English in the classroom. |

（基準等） | | | Student grades are based on 3 conversation tests (30%), participation (40%) and a final test (30%). |

(予習･復習) | | | Students may listen to the listening CD before class to familiarise themselves with its contents. They should also listen to it after class to confirm any parts they may have missed while doing the listening exercises. |
