サブタイトル | | | | 科目のねらい | | Writers use different kinds of texts for different purposes: descriptions, narratives, and so on. These are called "genres." For each genre, we'll think about how to open, develop, and close the text. Then we'll practice useful language. The result will be a text that can be shared. Usually, we'll take two weeks for each kind of genre. But we may occasionally take three. There will also be vocabulary practice, and of course we'll practice listening and speaking. |
| | 到達目標 | | At the end, you should find it easier to write in different ways depending on whether you are describing a situation, telling about an event, or so on. These differences should also become sharper for your reader, so that it is clear right away what your writing purpose is. Texts that are arranged well are easier to read. Of course, there are other targets as well. Just by talking about these text-making matters in English, we'll also be practicing speaking and listening. And we'll also be practicing communication (thinking of your listener's needs and point of view when you speak or write). Finally, we'll aim to extend your vocabulary and help you to use it more exactly. |
