| 科目のねらい | | | The goal of this course is to enable students to develop their English language ability as part of their general 1st year curriculum which includes studies in various disciplines. Specifically, this 1 semester class aims to provide students with an English language environment in which they can improve speaking and listening communication abilities. |

| 到達目標 | | | This is a 4 skills English Communication course for freshmen of the Faculty of Letters .The classwork consists of speaking, listening, writing and reading practice. Listening tasks are based on CD and DVD audio with activity pages. Evaluation is based on quizzes, a final exam and a speaking test in class. |
