Students need authentic opportunities to learn how to listen and speak effectively in a variety of situations. This course will focus on improving the student's communicative proficiency through the use of classroom activities that introduce grammar and vocabulary for communicative purposes and provide opportunities for authentic interaction to promote speaking and listening skills. In addition, this course will aim to improve the student’s 4 skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) and encourage students to engage in conversation for specific communicative purposes.
