言語は文化の一つである。ゆえに、その国の文化背景を理解、認識しなければその国の言葉を本当の意味で理解し、使用することは難しいと考える。
このテキストを用いて、英語文化圏に触れ、知って、分かればよりよい言語使用に結びつける助けになるのではないかと期待する。
異文化理解は異文化交流を行うであろうあなたがたにきっと英語使用をよりやりやすいものにすると確信する。

| 備考 | | 試験問題は基本的にテキスト外から出題。
出席点は特に設けていないが、全講義数の３分の１以上欠席した者は定期試験の受験資格を失うことになる。
授業中使用する辞書は電子辞書も可能だが、「もし、定期試験に『辞書使用可とした場合は書籍タイプの辞書のみ可』」とする。 |
