Learn with BOTH your Ears and Eyes |
---|
My version of the Silent Way .... learn with your eyes and ears. Listen to English, not lectures. The teacher remains silent unless students ask questions. Step 1: Watch the videoiŽćjclosely and try to see the patterns. Concentrate on the signal (patterns) and ignore the noise (everything else). Step 2: Next listen to the phrases and sentences that explain the patterns you see. Try to match what you hear with the patterns that you see. Step 3: Think deeply. Talk with the students in your group. Teach each other. Step 4: If your group has a specific question, raise your hand and ask the teacher.
