Our course aims at providing adequate academic proficiency in Japanese language and other related subjects for international students who plan to enter Aichi Gakuin University or other academic institutions in Japan. The one year course consists of two semesters of language study at the basic and intermediate levels.
Since its foundation in 1991 until now, the majority of the students come from Asian countries, but we plan to expand our program to Europe and America in the future. Graduates from the course have been admitted into Aichi Gakuin University as well as other universities or colleges mainly in the Chubu area.
The intensive language training includes 4 skills : speaking, listening, reading and writing. All students are required to take an initial placement test at the beginning of the academic year to place them in the appropriate level classes. The curriculum also includes such subjects as Japanese society, history, religion, politics and economy. Extra curricular activities include a field trip, a Japanese speech contest, parties and a home visit program with Japanese families.
We look forward to having you here in Aichi Gakuin University.
